London Tech Week - Healthtech - The Revolution is Here

'Spark' is a collaborative effort between the Crick Science Entrepreneur Network and LocalGlobe, designed to foster innovation in the life sciences and biomedicine sectors by creating a monthly forum for engaging discussion.

For this June edition, which is an official London Tech Week Fringe event, we are partnering with KQ Labs and Global Tech Advocates Healthtech.

We are pleased to host Hammad Jeilani, co-founder of Apian, for our fireside chat. Hammad is a medical doctor and NHS Clinical Entrepreneur. In 2017, he co-founded Apian with a team of NHS doctors and ex-Googlers. Apian is a medical drone startup that builds products and platforms that connect the healthcare industry with the drone industry to improve patients’ health outcomes and staff well-being.

Please find more info about Hammad: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hammadjeilani/

The event will also feature demos from KQ Labs startups. KQ Labs is an accelerator of UK early-stage data-driven health startups. Please find more info on the startups on the links below.

The driving force behind Spark is the community's desire for a recurring platform that unites a diverse network of professionals, including scientists, doctors, lawyers, operators, VCs, and others, all with the shared goal of nurturing new ideas and supporting the startup process.

All welcome, no ideas or entrepreneurship experience needed.

Crick Science Entrepreneur network (CSEN) aims to bring together researchers at all career stages to learn about the translation and commercialisation potential of their research. CSEN events share the experiences and journeys of founders of academic spinout companies, or scientists who have transitioned to a career in innovation, venture capital or technology transfer.
